Leonard Nimoy to Retire? Illogical!
by Brian Alterman on Apr.21, 2010, under News
Leonard Nimoy has announced that after 60 years of acting, he is going to retire. Nimoy who is, as everyone in the entire world knows, most famous for his role as Spock on Star Trek will spend his time pursuing his passion for photography where he has “built credibility now in the art world”. Let me take this moment to say that the acting world may never recover. This is a man who not only entertained us, but who taught us such valuable life lessons as “If you have a goatee you are evil and from a parallel universe”. I can’t tell you how many times that little tidbit has saved my life…
But on a more serious note, this is a man who has entertained viewers for a very long time (this article say 60 years, but I can’t remember that far back). He secretly introduced Jewish rituals into science fiction thus forwarding the notion of the Jewish media conspiracy. He even appeared on The Simpson’s. Kudos to you Mr. Nimoy, we all bow in humble admiration. How great was Leonard Nimoy? He bows out at age 79 after 60 years of acting, and at a point where he still gets roles, and is still relevent.

I’ll most remember Leonard Nimoy preventing Krusty the Clown’s demise: “No! The world needs laughter.”
Or that whole Spock thing, either or.
