I’ve Got a New Hobby . . .

And it’s reading the descriptions of books on self-publishing site Lulu.com. (Lulu, publisher of my runaway hit Mega Roos vs. Giant Crappy Movies.) Lulu makes publishing so easy and affordable anyone can do it — and here’s the proof. As a man who has self-published a few novels in his day, I feel sympathy. Twilight wannabes less so. A few gave me a chuckle, this one in particular:
The Vampire’s Daughter is a blog story, or slog, about a vampire (Sabastian) that takes on the daughter (Susan) of one of his victims. There is a strange bond between them that transcends their two worlds. In fact, as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the death of Susan’s mother sets off a chain of events that will alter not only their lives, but also the lives of vampires throughout the world.

How fresh and exciting. Why there’s never been a plot like that ever in the history of the written word.
