Look! They’re re-releasing the 1989 Hulk Hogan vehicle “No Holds Barred,” without which we would never have had Suburban Commando! On a side note, trailer voice over guy, could you define “defined an era”?
An old clip, but a good one – a news report on a hillbilly’s Bigfoot sighting: “He had beautiful hair.” / “Get away from here! Get!” (continue reading…)
Partridge Family kid Danny Bonaduce. Brady Bunch kid Barry Williams. Bigfoot. Saturday Night. SyFy Channel. Sentence Fragments. To see the trailer, go here (couldn’t find embed code).
What the H? When did Tyler Perry start making movies I actually will watch?
Vending machines that make Pizza are now coming to America? What a wonderful world!
The new Judge Dredd trailer is out, and it raises so many questions: Where is Rob Schneider? Why is Karl Urban impersonating Clint Eastwood? Why remake a movie when Sylvester Stallone did it so flawlessly?
That is, if Fox accepts my pitch based on this recent news article, with the headline, “Move over zombies: Man left bloodied and screaming in pain after attack by ‘bunch of leprechauns’”:

The moral is don’t travel when you’re related to that bad arse senior citizen, Liam Neeson:
Birds. Not always the word is “birds.” Alfred Hitchcock knows birds scare us, but did Alf know the inverse — what scares birds (other than straw stuffed with old overalls hung on a pole in a field)? If he did, he could save San Francisco a lot of time, money, and trouble.
The city, in a settlement to a lawsuit, must spend “$150,000 to study whether the racing boats – and their towering sails – will scare birds on the bay.”
“It’s not that we’re trying to head-shrink the birds,” said Mike Lynes of the Golden Gate Audubon Society. “But when they take off because they are frightened, they expend energy, and that can affect their health.”
There is a upcoming documentary titled “Fight Church,” which features young, Christians who dig mixed martial arts and use it as an opportunity to reach the masses. A quote from the trailer: “The hope is that through the fight I can create a relationship with the person I’m fighting and extend Christ to him.” And another: “Can you love your neighbor as yourself and at the same time knee him in the face as hard as you can?”
Far be it from me to judge, but I think I’ll stick with my Church League Softball, thanks, guys. (continue reading…)
