The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), which has been taking detailed photos of the moon for years has provided grainy photos which NASA claims show that the flags on the moon are still standing(well, at least most of them are).  Scientists speculate the the flags may be badly faded due to the harsh ultra violet light they are subjected to in the no atmosphere setting of the moons surface or possibly due to the fact that Stanley Kubrick’s maid used too much bleach.  But in all seriousness, we here at Snark Critic Pop don’t buy in to all this conspiracy theory nonsense, however we will use and chance we can to show the greatest hero in American history – Buzz Aldrin (continue reading…)

Perhaps someday, when Chicago finally has the Olympics, they’ll pay homage to some famous Chicago children’s authors like former Chicago Bull Dennis Rodman.  Yes, Dennis the cross-dressing movie star basketball player is now a children’s book author. 

Tattooed parents prepare to tuck your children into bed with the guaranteed solid read, Dennis the Wild Bull.

No word on if Dennis can actually read a book, but we can confirm that he has written one.

That’s what the moon gets for daring to speak against our red Chinese masters. 

Yes, it’s true – next year, China will be attempting their first moon landing.  Hey, China, while you’re up there, can you see if you can find America’s keys.  We might have dropped them there five decades ago.  No truth to the reports that the Chinese moon shot is motivated by rumors of moon people having two children, by the by.

For those unaware, even the most resolute cinematic masochist needs proper preparation and nerves of steel to endure Manos, the Master, Torgo, and the rest of the gang. This film eats into your brain and will steal your soul!
