Danny Trejo vs. Zombies!  Though, on the cover, Trejo, featured prominently along with the many face craters he sports, is given third billing behind Levar “Geordi!” Burton (Reading Rainbow) and Mariel Hemingway (Superman IV: The Quest For Peace). 

What’s the subject matter?  You’re right, the subject doesn’t matter.  But, the Asylum website says the plot is this:

When zombies overrun San Francisco, a desperate group survives by locking themselves inside Alcatraz Prison. When the undead breach the island, our heros are forced to return to the mainland overrun with the undead.

Another one I actually used to watch. What a great episode, with an X-Men Reunion, where Spider-Man is totally not invited. Amazing Friends indeed!

If you’ve ever dressed like THIS GUY for Halloween, or even know what the heck he’s trying to pull off here (no, it is NOT a Pale Pacman), then you are likely giddy with glee. 

The same man who ably helmed the masterful Star Trek reboot, J.J. Abrams, is set to direct Star Wars VII.

Is it just me or does the thought of a bear mauling someone bring laughter into your heart too? Is it because we know that a female skier beat one senseless so we know they are cowardly furballs? Or is it just that every time we see one we think of it wearing a tutu and dancing for drunk Russians? Either way, NOT LIKE THIS!!!!!

On the surface, 1989′s “Ghetto Blaster” sounds rather mundane. From the imdb page description:

When Travis, middle-aged, working class man, returns home to visit his parents, he quickly learns that his hood is rife with criminal activity and gang warfare. Quickly, Travis finds himself thrust into a position to defend his family and neighbors from the punks who terrorize them on a daily basis. Good thing he has a military training, enabling the man to become a one-man vigilante unit against the forces of evil in his town.
