Alternate title: Honey, I Shrunk the Budget!

Antibody is a low, low budget film varation of classic film Fantastic Voyage, with the subtle difference that this is not fantastic.  Granted the film does not officially credit Voyage with the story, but there’s good reasons for that.  1) It’s a slightly different story.  2) Proper creditation means you have to pay the original source a little thing I like to call “money.”  2a) Did I mention this is a low, low budget film? Stop me when this movie plot sounds familiar: A big city, karate kicking supercop is fighting a big time drug dealer. They bust the drug kingpin, but the bad guys get off because the good guys bent the rules. The drug kingpin has the supercop’s partner(s) killed. The good guy goes for revenge!

Sound like every 80′s-90′s action movie? Well Excessive Force isn’t your Great Uncle’s action movie for a myriad of reasons. For starters, Excessive Force stars a Jean-Claude Van Damme American-style wannabe in Thomas Ian Griffith, from Karate Kid III. Coming soon to a theater near you… wait, no… coming soon straight to DVD (I would imagine) is Monster Bash.  It’s the story of eight “classic” monsters who fight to the death in a Pay-Per-View wrestling tournament set inside an abandoned graveyard which just happens to be cursed.  Yes, zombies, mummies, werewolves, Frankenstein, and Dracula going at it… oh, the inhumanity!  The film brings together such screen luminaries as Lance Henriksen, Dave Foley, the Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart and former WCW Heavyweight Champion Kevin Nash.

We, the cinematic masochists at SnarkCriticPop.com can’t be more excited.  We have often thrown around ridiculous ideas, but one this ridiculous makes us realize we are just amateurs.
