Snark, Critic and Pop!

A movie from Seth MacFarlane, starring Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, and a talking teddy bear. What could possibly go wrong?

I’m not a fan of Seth MacFarlane, the creative force behind such manic TV shows as Family Guy and American Dad, although I am intrigued by news of his proposed move to a major motion picture: A movie called “Ted” about a teddy bear who comes between a man and his girlfriend.  Check out the story here.

I abandoned Family Guy years ago due to its excessive blasphemy (I’m a Christian, Family Guy tends to mock Jesus, Christianity, and just about everything quite liberally). But I am a Bear Man, which reminds me of another reason I’m not too fond of Family Guy: (continue reading…)
